Due to the extension of the lockdown the opening of the exhibition will unfortunately have to be postponed until further notice.
It is already confirmed that “The Mystery of Banksy” at Isarforum will be extended until May 2nd! Everything is set up already and can and will be opened as soon as the pandemic-caused restrictions allow it!

Tickets already purchased remain valid and do not have to be exchanged: Time slot tickets for the period from November 19 to March 9 and November till February Flexi tickets will be automatically converted into Flexi tickets for the entire duration of the exhibition (without date and time slot restrictions) without any additional charge.

Tickets and rates

Available now for advance booking. For visitors without a possibility to book in advance there will be tickets available at the box office. Important notice: Due to the current situation the number of visitors allowed within the premises of the exhibition is limited. It is therefore recommended – especially for visitors travelling longer distances – to purchase a ticket for the desired day and time slot online to avoid longer waiting times.

Time slot tickets

A time slot must be booked in order to optimally direct the number of visitors and thus comply with the applicable hygiene and distance rules. With the time slot ticket, access to the exhibition is possible within the booked time slot, the length of your stay is unlimited.

Flexi / gift tickets

If you want to stay flexible or want to give away tickets without a time limit as a gift, so-called flexi / gift tickets are the right alternative. They can be used to access the exhibition at any time, but due to the current situation there are only a limited number available.

Frequently asked questions

STAY

The length of stay in the exhibition is unlimited within the opening hours. We recommend scheduling roundabout 1.5 hours for your visit. The duration of your stay depends on how much time you spend looking at each work and whether you want to read all the information available. According to experience using the multimedia tour prolongs the time spent in the exhibition. Re-entry is not possible after leaving the premises.

ACCESSIBILITY

The exhibition is barrier-free and there is also a disabled toilet.

PHOTOGRAPHING & FILMING

Photos and film recordings are permitted.

GUIDED TOURS

There is an extensive and informative multimedia tour that can be conveniently accessed on site using a QR code with your own smartphone. This multimedia tour is free of charge. We recommend that you bring your own headphones that can be connected with your phone.

LOST PROPERTY OFFICE

The lost property office is located at the information desk in the exhibition’s entrance area.

HYGIENE CONCEPT & INFECTION DEFENSE

Various regulations and hygiene measures apply to make your stay in the exhibition secure.

Health:
In everyone’s interest please only visit the exhibition if you are in good health and feel well.

Mouth and nose protection (MNP):
Within the premises wearing masks is mandatory for visitors aged 6 and older (with the only exception for people who can’t wear them for health reasons). Re-usable masks exclusively designed with various Banksy artwork are available in the exhibition shop on site.

Distance:
Please keep a minimum distance of 1.50 meters from other visitors. For better orientation, the minimum distance in waiting areas is marked by explicit signs on the floor. In addition, the one-way rule applies all over the exhibition.

Sneezing and coughing:
Please heed the generally applicable sneezing and coughing etiquette during your stay.

Hand hygiene:
Regular and thorough hand washing is explicitly recommended. We also ask you to use the hand disinfection points at the entrance and exit area of ​​the exhibition.

ELECTRONIC PURSE

It is possible to pay cash or cashless with an EC card and all major credit cards at the box office and in the exhibition shop.

PUSHCHAIR

Pushchairs are allowed within the premises, permitting space available. On days with a high frequency of visitors pushchairs may have to be left in the foyer.

There are some parking options in nearby parking garages:

Basically, however, a direct journey by car is not recommended. Please use public transport instead:

Please note that the “Deutsches Museum“ stop, line 17 will not be reached until the end of 2022 due to construction work on Ludwigsbrücke

LOCKERS

Lockers are available in the exhibition’s entrance area and can be used for a deposit of € 1. There is no cloakroom.

SOUVENIRS

Our shop has a wide variety of souvenirs for Banksy fans – from postcards, magnets or mugs to stylish t-shirts and hoodies, all designed with artwork by the streetart star! Our highlight: Here you can also create your own shirt in Banksy style with a stencil and spray can, plain-colored shirts are available on site as well.

PETS

It is not permitted to bring dogs or other animals into the exhibition, unless prior notice has been given. The only exception to this rule are guide dogs or assistance dogs.
